Practice Areas
Attorney Siola Hashorva brings more than two decades of legal and corporate experience to clients across Southeast Michigan. Every matter is handled personally — with the practical judgment of someone who has worked inside a business, navigated immigration as an immigrant, and built institutions from the ground up right here in Michigan.
Southeast Michigan has always been a place where people build things. From the auto industry that defined the region to the wave of entrepreneurs reshaping Troy, Sterling Heights, and Detroit today, Michigan's business culture is grounded in practical thinking and long-term commitment. Attorney Hashorva shares that orientation — and brings the legal depth to match it.
Before founding her firm, Siola served as a Corporate Controller within an American corporation. That experience — managing the financial and operational machinery of a real business — is something most attorneys simply do not have. When she advises a client on a contract, a corporate structure, or a strategic transaction, she understands what the numbers mean and what the stakes feel like from the inside.
"She has sat at the financial and operational center of a business, not just across the table from one."
Whether you are forming an LLC, negotiating a partnership agreement, drafting commercial contracts, restructuring an existing business, or planning a strategic acquisition, The Hashorva Law Firm provides counsel that is grounded in business reality — not just legal theory.
- Business formation & entity structuring (LLC, corporation, partnership)
- Operating agreements, shareholder agreements & governance documents
- Commercial contract drafting, review & negotiation
- Business acquisitions & strategic transactions
- Long-term business planning & legal strategy

Michigan's real estate market — from the established suburbs of Oakland County to the rapidly evolving commercial corridors of Metro Detroit — demands legal representation that understands the local landscape. Attorney Hashorva has worked with buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and investors across Southeast Michigan, providing the thorough legal review and representation that protects her clients at every stage of a transaction.
Real estate transactions are often among the most significant financial decisions a person or business will make. A missed clause in a purchase agreement, an undisclosed title issue, or an ambiguous lease term can create consequences that outlast the deal itself. The Hashorva Law Firm ensures that what you sign reflects what you intend — and that your interests are protected from offer to closing.
- Residential purchase & sale transactions
- Commercial real estate acquisition & disposition
- Lease drafting, review & negotiation (commercial & residential)
- Title review & closing representation
- Real estate contract disputes
- Landlord & tenant matters
Michigan has always been a state shaped by people who came from somewhere else. The communities of Dearborn, Warren, Sterling Heights, and Troy are testaments to what immigrants build when they are given the tools and opportunity to thrive. Attorney Hashorva is part of that story — and that is precisely what makes her immigration practice different.
Siola Hashorva did not learn about immigration law in a classroom and then begin practicing it. She lived it. She navigated the American immigration system as an immigrant herself — sitting where her clients sit, facing the same uncertainty, paperwork, and complexity that every immigrant family encounters. That firsthand experience informs every consultation, every filing, and every strategy she develops on behalf of her clients.
"She has not just studied the immigration system — she has personally navigated it. That distinction shapes every case she takes."
Michigan's immigrant communities — Albanian, Arab, Chaldean, South Asian, Latin American, and many others — are the backbone of Southeast Michigan's economy and culture. Attorney Hashorva has spent her career working within these communities, with particular depth in serving Albanian-American families and entrepreneurs. She understands not only the legal requirements but the cultural context, the family stakes, and the long-term goals that bring people to her door.

In Michigan, your driver's license is not just a card in your wallet — it is how you get to work, bring your kids to school, and keep your life moving. A traffic citation that goes uncontested can trigger points on your license, drive up your insurance premiums, and in serious cases put your ability to drive at risk entirely.
Many people assume a traffic ticket is simply something to pay and move on from. In reality, contesting a citation — or working to reduce its impact — is almost always worth exploring, particularly for commercial drivers, CDL holders, or anyone who has accumulated prior violations. Attorney Hashorva represents clients across Southeast Michigan in traffic matters at both the district court level and before the Michigan Secretary of State.
- Speeding tickets & moving violations
- Reckless & careless driving charges
- License suspension & restoration
- Points reduction & record protection
- CDL & commercial driver violations
- Michigan Secretary of State hearings
Founded in Michigan. Built for the Albanian-American Business Community.
Attorney Hashorva's commitment to Southeast Michigan extends beyond her legal practice. Recognizing that the Albanian-American business community — one of the most active and entrepreneurially driven immigrant communities in the state — had no formal institutional home, she founded the Albanian American Chamber of Commerce of Michigan.
The Chamber exists to give Albanian-American entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals a collective voice; to open doors to civic and governmental relationships; and to strengthen the economic ties between the Albanian-American community and the broader Michigan business ecosystem. As Founder and President, Siola leads the organization's mission and represents its members at the highest levels of Michigan's civic and business life.
